COMPLETED CONTACT US PAGES

that converts.

The contact Us page is surprisingly one of the most visited pages for most business, most probably yours included.  Despite this I found it strange that so many contact us pages look nothing other than an afterthought. Especially as they should be given just as much though as your About Us page at the very least.

A well constructed Contact Us page will be simple, easy to navigate but be used as an entry to your website, and not as an exit.

Write from your customers perspective.

  • Where you are?
  • How do I contact you?
  • When are you open?
  • Why do I want to get in touch with you?

1. BASIC CONTACT INFO

This seems obvious, yet it is often neglected.  Ensure that your information is up to date and completed.  Small mistakes here can mean the difference between a sale or no sale, missing numbers, misspelled emails.

Also consider your regular clients, they too make use of your contact us page, often.  If your business has any Tax/Vat or governmental codes, please include them too. Your regulars may need these numbers for their invoicing and tender processes.

1. SOCIAL MEDIA INFO

It is confusing and overwhelming the amount of social media options.  How many avenues should we focus on, honestly there are an entire industry devoted to finding these answers for marketers.  But as a small to medium business you should stick to the amount you can actually actively manage, especially if you manage your social media in-house.  Having all the accounts mean nothing if your not going to be active on it.

Facebook already dislikes the idea if we take too long to respond to messages.  This is but one example of how being active is seriously beneficial, as suppose to being dormant over the web.

It is important to try and make use of all the avenues available to us with our marketing tools.  Another is to include a Call to Action for a final or first call for customer conversions, the WHY they need to get in touch with you.  Making use of all our avenues shows that your contact us page is just as important as your Home pageService or Products page and About Us page. Keep in mind that all your possible entry and exists should be well constructed, focused and talk directly to the top 20% of your target market.
